2 men impressed us:
Claude Monet and Jim Jarmusch.
In 1872, Claude Monet painted Impression, Sunrise (Impression, soleil levant) depicting a Le Havre landscape. It hung in the first Impressionist exhibition in 1874 and is now displayed in the Musée Marmottan Monet in Paris. From the painting’s title, art critic Louis Leroy coined the term “Impressionism”, which he intended as disparagement but which the Impressionists appropriated for themselves.
One of the Jim Jarmusch’s golden rules says: Nothing is original. Steal from anywhere that resonates with inspiration or fuels your imagination. Devour old films, new films, music, books, paintings, photographs, poems, dreams, random conversations, architecture, bridges, street signs, trees, clouds, bodies of water, light and shadows. Select only things to steal from that speak directly to your soul. If you do this, your work (and theft) will be authentic. Authenticity is invaluable; originality is nonexistent. And don’t bother concealing your thievery—celebrate it if you feel like it. In any case, always remember what Jean-Luc Godard said: “It’s not where you take things from—it’s where you take them to.”
Get impressed and steal.

хорошо. очень хорошо. функционал хорош. но блин так долго матать. уверен вы думали над вариантом сделать миниатюры по несколько в ряд. видимо были причины так не делать.
I must say that in general I am really happy with this blog. It’s good to see someone very excited about what they do. Thanks!

Hi,
Thank you for having my wife’s “A Head for Fashion”, on your site.
But, you’ve incorrectly labeled it as photography. They are in fact oil paintings.
Please watch the videos on the website to see how she creates them.
Thank you,
